The Armory Series from Mapex is the latest innovation of the Mapex hybrid shell concept. This shell pack offers great style, (at an affordable price) while making sure that you stand out in any mix. This Mapex Armory Rock Fusion shell pack consists of six pieces a bass drum, Tomahawk snare, two floor toms and two rack toms finished with chrome fittings and a brilliant Redwood Burst visual.

Tomahawk Steel Snare

The Tomahawk is built for punishment it excels when it comes to playing Metal and Heavy Rock offering brilliant feel and a deep, driving cut that quality steel snares are known for.

SONIClear?

SONIClear tom suspension mounts are implemented here, designed to improve the resonance of the Mapex Armory Shells. SONIClear bearing edges make sure that heads sit accurately enough to be hand-tensioned, while still producing a cleaner overall tone. Allowing the drum head to sit flat also improves response as it increases synergy between the shell and head.

Maple/Birch Combination

The bass drum, as well each of the toms, are produced from hand-picked maple with inner and outer plies made from birch. Birch provides you with far more attack and impact, whereas the maple doubles down on projection and a more resonant body.
